Author Nicole Dejo Lee, MA, LLPC

Nicole Dejo Lee, MA, LLPC, was a licensed mental health therapist, intercessor, and cancer survivor based in Flint, Michigan. With a deep passion for listening, encouraging, and uplifting others, Nicole lived out her God-given purpose daily through counseling and ministry.

She was the founder and CEO of Purlife Counseling Services, where she provided compassionate therapy with a focus on emotional healing, faith integration, and personal growth. Before stepping fully into the counseling field, Nicole faithfully served others for over 16 years as a funeral counselor and chaplain and spent eight years as a patient relations manager and customer service specialist in healthcare.

Nicole earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Spring Arbor University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration. Her approach to care was shaped not only by education and professional experience but also by personal healing—having survived cancer and boldly shared her testimony of God’s miraculous power.

She actively served in ministry and prayer as:
• Moderator of Monday Morning Glory 6 AM Prayer at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church
• A leader with United Sisters, a ministry of healing and deliverance through storytelling
• A watchman intercessor with the Watchman Warrior Prayer Ministry
• A prayer leader and mentor with Chosen by God Ministry

Nicole was featured on Chenelle Dismond’s “Navigating Cancer” Facebook Live, shared her testimony at the Pink Night Palooza cancer event, and was scheduled to be featured in a future Daily Bread devotional highlighting the miraculous healing power of God.

Outside of her professional and ministry work, Nicole was a proud mother to her son, Colonel (Amber) Lee, a loving dog-mom to her rescue pup Luna, and granddog Mason.

Though Nicole lost her second battle with cancer, her voice, her faith, and her testimony live on through her chapter, “Walk in Miracles,” and through the countless lives she touched.

Her legacy continues to inspire.
