Judy Lawrence Lamb

Judy Eve Lawrence-Lamb is a New York native and long-time Virginia resident who now resides in Charlotte, NC, with her family. A stage four metastatic breast cancer survivor, Judy has also overcome multiple strokes, single parenthood, domestic violence, and profound loss, yet her resilience and faith have remained unshaken.

A passionate writer, educator, and evangelist, Judy has authored multiple books, poetry, lyrics, and stage plays. She has worked as a correspondent writer, substitute teacher, and developmental editor at Tucker Publishing House, LLC. She is also the CEO of Wesleys & Eves Corporation—Un-ERASED and the beloved Grandma Judy Eve, bringing literacy programs to children.

Judy holds a BS in English from Norfolk State University and an M.Div. from Norfolk Theological Seminary & College. Called to ministry at 45, she obediently preached her initial sermon at 60.

Through her life’s work, Judy inspires others to embrace their voice, overcome adversity, and trust in God’s timing.

My Bio

After accompanying Judy at her recent book launch, William went home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2025. At the launch, he told the guests that he loved them. Even thought he wasn’t visible the entire launch, he never left Judy’s side. Judy has been a writer for most of her life but it was William who encouraged her to write her first book—Reaching Out: A Collection of Inspirational Poetry honoring the memory of her father and son who died as a result of automobile accidents 9 years apart.

Since then, she has written two poetry books (one in collaboration with Joice Fairchild), two novels, two children’s books and has been an author in three anthologies.
