Throughout her life, Lisa has dedicated her time and talents to supporting women and youth, empowering them to see their worth and embrace love, commitment, and sacrifice. She has instilled these values in her children, ensuring they understand the importance of giving back, and she continues to lead by example.


Lisa’s unwavering dedication to service is made evident through her long-standing commitment to her church and community. From 1997 to 2015, she served as a praise and worship leader at LAM Christian Church, where she continues to be an active and vital member. Beyond the church walls, Lisa has served as a counselor at Naomi’s Nest Drug Rehabilitation, offering guidance and support to those in recovery. Since 2018, Lisa has also devoted her time to prison ministry at Detroit Re-Entry and Huron Valley Women’s Correctional Facility, providing hope and spiritual care to incarcerated women.


In 2021, Lisa faced a significant health challenge when she was diagnosed with mouth cancer. However, her faith and determination carried her through the ordeal, and by the grace of God, she overcame the illness. Lisa now shares her story as a powerful testament to the strength of resilience and faith. Her unwavering spirit continues to inspire those around her, and her life stands as a shining example of living with purpose, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to serving others.
