Author Monica Poe

Monica is a woman of prayer and purpose. As a member of Jewels Ladies of Prayer, she finds strength in sisterhood and devotion. Though life has brought immense challenges, including the loss of her beloved mother to breast cancer at just 48, Monica remains grounded in faith, always willing to share her testimony with anyone who will listen.

After 33 years in a relationship—16 of those married—Monica is now navigating a new chapter of self-discovery and healing while co-parenting with grace. An only child herself, she is a natural listener and a source of wisdom and comfort to those around her. She is a woman with many ideas, a heart full of compassion, and a spirit ready to inspire others on their own paths of survival and self-love

Monica Poe is a proud mom of three miracle babies, a survivor, a creator, and a woman of unshakable faith. A high school graduate and employee of FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), Monica finds joy in crafting—pouring her love into handmade creations that brighten others' lives.

Her chapter in the Surviving Survivorship Anthology marks her powerful debut as an author. In it, she opens her heart to share a journey of profound loss, resilience, and unwavering faith. Monica has experienced more than most—she has survived 26 miscarriages, stage 2 breast cancer, a full hysterectomy, and a double mastectomy. Today, she is celebrating two years cancer-free and continues to walk in gratitude and strength.
