Why This Gathering Matters

On International Women’s Day, we are coming together to honor resilience, advocacy, faith, and sisterhood.

This isn’t just a book launch.
It is a celebration of thirteen Black women who chose to tell the truth about cancer — diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, recurrence, and loss.

We will also honor the memory of two courageous contributors whose stories live on through these pages.

What to Expect

Representation Matters

Black women face significant disparities in cancer outcomes, yet our voices are often missing from the narrative. This event centers lived experience, advocacy, and healing — in our own words.

Come celebrate the power of story.
Come support survivorship.
Come stand in community.
